Natures Powerhouse

Last year our family business went through difficult financial times that we thought of not celebrating the holidays. But with the kids looking forward to a scrumptious Christmas Eve feast, I just do not want to tell them the bad news. I talked with my wife about how excited the kids are, and we were not prepared to spend as much for a feast and gifts. She suggested that we sell a few stuff, but a garage sale just is not the way to go since we did not have as much junk.

We needed to sell something more valuable, so we thought of selling jewelry. We asked one of our neighbors about it and it so happened that they had sold jewelry a few months before to a jeweler. He told us that it was a company he found over the internet when he needed a financial boost. Because it was recommended by one of our close neighbors, we thought of giving it a shot.

My wife called them up and we were told to put the jewelries in a kit they will be sending. The jeweler company had in-house professionals who quickly do their work. And just a few days later, we got a check for $800! My wife and I were happy to sell old jewelry. It was a great feeling that our kids got to enjoy the Christmas they were longing for.

Ever since my mother moved to Florida to be closer to me, all she did is plan a renovation in my house.  In fact, she already started moving some of the pieces of furniture in the house.  What is more, she contacted an interior designer to assess the work to be done in my house.  True enough, the interior designer dropped by yesterday, and started  suggesting for items needed, such as placing door screens between the living room and the kitchen.

However, I have concerns of the designs because the screens my look out of place inside the house.  Nonetheless,   the designer assured me that she know a company that provides dozens of colours, designs and styles that will blend with the overall interior of the house.  I could even custom made, if I want to.

A friend once told me that if you are not satisfied with how your carpet feels, you should buy a new one. I know for a fact that carpets are not only supposed to look good, but it should feel good as well. My two year old son likes to crawl all over the living room and that is also the main reason why I installed a carpet in the house. I was busy playing my favorite online game when the phone rang. It was my best friend Alex and he was telling me something that I can’t quite understand. It seems that he was in a state of shock so I told him to calm down. After a few minutes, he managed to say the things that he wanted to say and it was my turn to panic. Our close friend Jessica was in the hospital because of a car accident and she was in critical condition. The three of us had been very close ever since we were young and we often hang out together.

He informed me that Jessica’s sister, Rachel told him about the accident. A few days passed by and Jessica’s condition became stable again.
