I read that people are selling old jewelry that is made of precious metals, like gold and silver and receiving good money for them. Every jewelry store in town has a sign in their window about how they are currently buying gold and silver. Gold prices are really high and I think that they take the old gold, melt it down, and make new pieces out of it.

Selling jewelry to stores is something that I never knew you could do. I always thought that you had to take it to a pawn shop or something.
